Trasima Richard is a resident of Leesville, Louisiana where she is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Upsilon Sigma Zeta Chapter in the Mighty Southern Region.  She holds a Doctor of Educational Leadership Specialist of Educational Leadership and Technology Degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Master of Educational Leadership and Technology Degree from McNeese State University, and Bachelor of Arts Degree from Northwestern State University.

 

Dr. Richard is an Adjunct Instructor of Business Education Courses and Adult Education. As an educator and one who is passionate about education, she believes that what she does is important because "it involves educating others on ways to effectively manage their finances and the finances of others which will undoubtedly improve the quality of financial reporting and contribute to the overall stability and progress of society."​

Leticia Nicholson is a resident of Greensboro, NC where she is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Delta Kappa Zeta Chapter of High Point, North Carolina in the Electrifying Eastern Region. Leticia obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from NC Wesleyan College in Rocky Mount, NC, and also has her MBA from Winston Salem State University. She joined Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated in the Spring of 1994 at Elizabeth City State University through Alpha Gamma Chapter

 

Leticia is an Accountant and was recently was promoted from Cost Accountant to Assistant Controller at Industries of the Blind. Industries of the Blind is a non-profit manufacturing facility in which 75% of the direct workforce is visually impaired. Approximately 75% of their work is government related, such as manufacturing Army Physical Fitness Pants, Army Combat Jackets, Army t-shirts and other items. The company also manufactures SkilCraft ink pens and clipboards. As part of her responsibilities, Leticia manages the month-end close process, analyzing general ledger accounts and financial statements and reports. She works with Engineering and the Senior leadership team when determining new projects and profitability. She also handles all aspects of cash management and assists with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll. She is also a member of the Material Review Board that acts as a supporting role to maintain inventory accuracy.


Leticia works diligently to ensure accurate financial reports in order to rightly assess opportunities for the company and any risks they may face. She provides financial reporting to the Board of Directors to show the financial stability of the organization and advises departments of their variances to budget. She works very closely with the Director of Finance on any special programs and requests.

 

In addition to being a career professional accountant, Leticia serves as the treasurer for Delta Kappa Zeta Chapter, and as the Co-Advisor of Epsilon Tau Undergraduate Chapter. She is Zeta Organizational Leadership (ZOL) Certified and was recognized by her chapter as the 2018 "Zeta of the Year"!
